Meet Dr. Constant Lu
Dr. Lu aspires to treat each dental visitor as an extended family member, treating them with respect and attention to their individual needs, while also continuing to learn new skills to optimize their dental health.
The Professional Side
Dr. Lu attended undergraduate school at the University of Washington, where he received his B.S. in Biology, and then to Creighton University Dental School where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995, where he was on the Dean’s List and was elected to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
He then moved to Vancouver, Washington, where he opened up a dental practice that flourished as a successful business for twenty-six years. It also received several online awards for “Best In Neighborhood”. During that time, Dr. Lu sat on several non-profit boards; he volunteered as well as organized numerous local free clinics for underserved populations in six states, as well as short-term mission trips which took him to countries like Mexico, Philippines, India, Ukraine, and Tanzania.
Dr. Lu has recently relocated with his family to Prescott, Arizona to be closer to his extended family as well as enjoy the central Arizona weather and lifestyle. He continues to serve in local free clinics and learn new skills in preventive and restorative dentistry to fulfill his patients’ needs!
The Personal Side
Dr. Lu has numerous family connections in dentistry: his wife Erlyn is one of his assistants in the office, and she has a dental degree from the Philippines. His son is in college pre-dental studies, and his nephew and brother-in-law are also dentists. He has a daughter who is in eighth grade and aspires to be a teacher.
Dr. Lu also enjoys playing the piano and leads worship with his wife and daughter at their church. He is also taking part-time classes at Phoenix Seminary to further his ministry training. He also enjoys reading, fitness, and sports, learning new skills (for example, he learned how to hang glide, and went wild hog hunting), as well as visiting new places and restaurants.
